Ken Khoo is a lifelong dedicated engineer with a keen eye for business potential. He is the founder of Spring Semiconductor Sdn Bhd. Recognizing the limitations of relying solely on foreign chip designs and ecosystems, Ken envisioned a future where Malaysians design "Made in Malaysia" ICs will become a commonplace, as he was a part of, in his early career in Silicon Valley during the dot-com-boom of the early 2000s. Ken is now focused on emerging fields like 2.5/3D Packaging, GaN HEMT Drivers, LTO storage technologies, actively collaborates with universities to establish internship programs and research partnerships. Ken himself mentors young engineers, inspiring the next generation of Malaysian chip designers. Ken is the holder of 2 PCIe/Expresscard Patents.
